Every so often, I go back through my older collections and see if there are any worthy of remounting on new layouts, or expanding to make a more complete collection. Here’s a couple of sets I remounted onto new layouts:
- Stamps issued by British Guiana for Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897: https://dicksstamps.online/collections/1897-queen-victoria-diamond-jubilee/. (The other stamps issued to commemorate this event from, say, Canada, are beyond my means at the moment.)
- Stamps issued by the Bahamas to commemorate the 450th anniversary of Columbus landing in the Bahamas: https://dicksstamps.online/collections/1942-columbus-landing-bahamas-450th-anniversary/
And then there are a couple of collections I expanded:
- The first Greek airmail stamps, issued by Aero Espresso Italiana from 1926 to 1933: https://dicksstamps.online/collections/1926-1933-aero-espresso-italiana/
- Albanian pictorials issued from 1922 to 1925, with overprints showing the political history of the time: https://dicksstamps.online/collections/1922-1925-albania-pictorials/
