Black Caviar (2006–2024) was one of Australia’s greatest thoroughbreds, renowned for an unbeaten career of 25 wins from 25 starts. Trained by Peter Moody and ridden mostly by Luke Nolen, the powerful mare dominated sprint racing, winning 15 Group 1 races. Her most famous international triumph came at Royal Ascot in 2012, when she won the Diamond Jubilee Stakes, confirming her world-class status. Known for her speed, strength, and competitive will, Black Caviar became a national icon and was inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame.
