First commemorative stamps issued by Great Britain, designed by Harold Nelson, engraved by JAC Harrison, and recess printed by Waterlow & Sons Ltd. The 1924 Exhibition was so successful, it was reopened in 1925, commemorated with a second printing dated 1925.
