This stamp issue was released shortly after World War II to support a government reconstruction bond campaign. It consists of four symbolic designs of liberation, industry, and economic recovery. The set is historically significant, reflecting Bulgaria’s political transition and postwar economic mobilization under the new regime in the context of Eastern Europe.
Designed by Alexander Zhendov (1901–1953) and Boris Angelushev (1902–1966), printed on pink tinted, vertically striped paper, and issued 4 June 1945.
