1963 Europa

1963 Europa

Finland returned. The common design is a stylized cross design composed of four three-sided U shapes with “CEPT” inlaid, designed by Norwegian Arne O. Holm (1911–2009). Five countries did not use the common design: Liechtenstein (antique columns); Monaco (girl with dove in her hands); Portugal (dove made of pieces of a puzzle); San Marino (flying San Marino flag with letter E tower; and Spain (Our Lady of Europe). Spain and Portugal used the CEPT logo.
