1966 Europa

1966 Europa

French Andorra issued for the first time, but Finland did not issue this year. The common design was a ship made of the letters “CEPT” symbolizing a steady progress on a calm sea, designed by Germans Gregor and Josef Bender. Two countries did not use the common design: San Marino (Our Lady of Europe); and Spain (Abduction of Europe by Zeus). Spain also used the CEPT logo. Most stamps were issued in September.
