The theme was European Music Year. Four countries (Gibraltar, Iceland, Italy, and Luxembourg) used the four CEPT letters instead of the official logo, but two (Iceland and Luxembourg) used the official European Music Year logo instead, and Liechtenstein used both. Most stamps were issued in late April or around 3 May.
