2022 Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee

HRH Princess Elizabeth of York, born 21 April 1926, became HM Queen Elizabeth II on 6 February 1952 on the death of her father, HM King George VI. At the age of 26, she was now The Queen of seven independent Commonwealth countries: the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, and Ceylon, as well as Head of the Commonwealth.

Completed for an SMA Stamp News project, these stamps commemorate the 70-year reign of HM The Queen from her Coronation in 1953 to her Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
