Using the excellent guide in “More Cinderellas of the Penny Black Centenary” by Wes Shellen, I’ve managed to collect a few more poster stamps/labels commemorating the centenary of the postage stamp in 1940. These additions include a sheet was issued for the Passaic, New Jersey stamp club that held its exhibition to coincide with the May 6 centennial date. This sheet shows sixteen Penny Blacks forming a border around another large red and blue “stamp” with a vignette of Uncle Sam.
