A nice short set of French colonial stamps issued to raise funds for the French Red Cross and national relief. The stamps all feature Marianne, the symbol of the French Republic, as designed by Edmond Dulac, and henceforth named “Marianne de Dulac” or, since he was living in London while the Free French government was in exile during World War II, “Marianne de Londres.”
