Commemorating Dag Hammarskjöld, second Secretary-General of the United Nations who dies in a plane crash in Africa. Notable in this global set are the overprints and the well-know “Day’s Folly,” who, on discovering that some of the US 4c stamps had been issued to the public with an inverted yellow print, printed 40 million more inverts to bring down the value of the original inverts.
