1963 African Postal Union

Stamps issued to commemorate the second anniversary of the African and Malagasy Postal and Telecommunications Union. Formed on 8 September 1961, in Antananarivo (French: Tana­narive) in Madagascar, under the name African and Malagasy Postal and Telecommunications Union (Union Africaine et Mal­gache des Postes et des Télécommunications, UAMPT), as part of the then African and Malagasy Union.
