Stamps commemorating the royal wedding in 1981 between HRH The Prince of Wales (now King Charles III) and Lady Diana Spencer.
This is one of those collections that I knew was large before I started, and one that had a lot of relatively low value stamps, but one that I wanted to do anyway. I remember watching the event on TV in the UK, and the street parties everywhere.
However, when I started researching which stamps I would include, the collection grew and grew. I added what I could find, including all the agency issues (stamps never sold in the country of issue) and later overprints and surcharges, as long as the stamp is still marked for the Royal Wedding.
