Castles, Soldiers, Sports, and a Prince

Four more sets completed!

  1. 1960-1964 Hungarian Castles. I’ve had this set for some time, but since Hungarian stamps were often issued both perforate and imperforate, I tracked down the latter from a dealer in Italy and made some new pages:  https://dicksstamps.online/collections/1960-1964-hungarian-castles/
  2. 1965-1967 Portuguese Overseas Army Uniforms. I like omnibus sets from the former colonies of the United Kingdom, France, and Portugal. This is a set from the latter, featuring army uniforms from the 16th to 20th centuries: https://dicksstamps.online/collections/1965-1967-military-uniforms/
  3. 1960 Prince Henry the Navigator. A joint issue of Portugal and Brazil, plus the former Portuguese colonies, commemorating the 500th anniversary of the death of Portuguese explorer, Prince Henry the Navigator:  https://dicksstamps.online/collections/1960-prince-henry-the-navigator/
  4. 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games: Two sets of stamps commemorating these games, held in El Salvador, the second set being a re-release overprinted HABILITADO, meaning “valid for postage”: https://dicksstamps.online/collections/1935-central-american-caribbean-games-san-salvador/
